LMS BUILT 1923 STOKE (non standard)

LMS Built Stoke plates generally conform to the Derby Style however this plate is smaller in length and not at all MR more LMS later style given the style of pattern letters used which are Burn co Sharp faced. This is a bit of a rarity and is believed to be a unique survivor. The shape and the fact that the plate has cast on studs as against holes very much shows it was made to fill the same space envelope left by the NSR plate or at least the space left for it on the design. Material Brass

Size in inches- 8 & 5/8ths by 5 & 5/8ths (hole centres not known)
Pattern Rarity- Unique (Possibly 2)
Special Features- Retains all of the characteristics of the MR Derby styling, an almost perfect clone of the Derby built plates.
